Hey there, I'm Jessa, a painter based in Canada and I'm delighted to share a glimpse into my creative journey with you. I have always been an artist even at a young age. After studying 3D modeling and texturing for games and movies, I found myself immersed in the fast-paced world of film production, constantly striving to meet tight deadlines and ensure that audiences could enjoy the magic of cinema.

However, as life evolved and I welcomed two wonderful sons into my world, my priorities shifted. While I cherished my career in the digital realm, I longed for a slower, more intimate creative process—one that would allow me to spend quality time with my family while nurturing my artistic soul. And so, I returned to my roots, embracing the timeless art of painting. Yes, I could have gone the digital painting way, my hands just would not let me. Not yet, anyways.

Today, you will find me at my home studio with my medium of choice: acrylic paint. I use it mainly for its fast drying and low odor. I paint original paintings on archival quality thick cotton canvas. I might also experiment with other surface soon, God willing.
