Refund policy

Please note that color accuracy may vary slightly between digital screens. If you're unsure about the painting's colors or details, I'd be happy to provide additional photos or mockups to help you visualize how it will look in your space. Please make sure you absolutely love the painting before making a purchase, as all sales are final. I don't offer 'approval' sales, which means returns aren't accepted if you change your mind or the painting no longer fits your taste.

Damages and issues

 If a painting is damaged during delivery- artworks found to be damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or to me within reasonable time.

If the artworks are lost or damaged during transit, please notify me by mail or in writing, providing details of the problem. If there is problem with the artwork, It is helpful if you can provide me with photos of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the works for inspection. I will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

We have a 21-day return policy on original paintings and reproduction work that is damaged during transit, which means you have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@jessavaldez.com. and I will note where the return will need to be sent to my address.  

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If original paintings lost in transit, I should be notified immediately so we can deal with delivery insurance and return/exchange the painting with equivalent quality. 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like original works that has not been damaged during delivery. Paintings are not sold 'upon approval'. This means I cannot accept a return if it doesn't match or you change your mind.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
